The Sun River is one of Montana's beautiful scenic rivers. Born in the awesome Bob Marshall Wilderness and flowing towards Great Falls, it finally meets the mighty Missouri River. It is a hidden gem among Montana's great fly-fishing rivers.
My Sun River Salsa has an awesome complex, spicy flavor, balanced with depth of the cumin and the coolness of cilantro. The 2.50 ounce package will flavor up to 5 cans of tomatoes.
Mix with a 14 ounce can of diced tomatoes (or 1-1/2 cups of fresh diced tomatoes). Add your choice of onions, beans, corn,peppers....use your imagination!

How Hot Is This?
Everyone’s tastes and tolerances are different, so my Sun River Salsa comes in two varieties:
Medium Spicy, with enough red pepper flakes to give the flavor some zing, but really should not have your running for the fire hose.
HOT!! Additional red pepper flakes, along with a bit of cayenne. Expect this burst of heat to set your tongue on fire. Recommended for true heat lovers!
How Do I Use It?
Be sure to shake the package before using.
Add 1 -2 rounded tablespoons to one 14 ounce can of diced tomatoes (I prefer the "petite diced"), stirring well. Feel free to experiment with adding additional onions, beans, corn, peppers, even olives...whatever strikes your imagination!
Best when refrigerated a a half hour before serving. Serve with nachos, or on tacos, burritos, any foods you want to add great flavor to!
