Everyone’s tastes and tolerances are different, so my Grizzly Chipotle Espresso comes in two varieties:
- My standard version of Grizzly Chipotle-Espresso Rub contains a medium amount of chipotle pepper. Chipotle, which is smoked, dried Jalapeno pepper, does not come in a mild version.If you would like a milder version of this rub, try my regular Grizzly Espresso Steak Rub, which is the exact same recipe, but without the chipotle pepper.
- HOT!! I add more Chipotle to amp up the heat. Expect this burst of heat to set your tongue on fire. Recommended for true heat lovers!

How do I use it?
Generally speaking, rubs are shaken, patted or rubbed onto the meat at least an hour before smoking, grilling, or other methods of cooking your meat. For most meats, leaving your rub to marinate on the meat for 2 - 12 hours brings your the best tasting results.
